NEWS: KFC Tabasco Chicken (starts 18 April 2017)

For the first time in Australia, KFC are introducing a brand new twist – Tabasco Chicken, starting 18 April 2017 (17 April in QLD)!

Unfortunately, this promo has ended - KFC's latest promos starting August 8 are 15 Wicked Wings for $10Zinger Mozzarella Burger and the Mates Burger Box.

KFC’s Tabasco Chicken features full sized hot and spicy chicken pieces in an extra crispy coating that’s been marinated in Tabasco sauce for 24 hours – an American hot sauce made out of Tabasco peppers, vinegar and salt produced in Louisiana. You’ll also get a packet of Tabasco sauce with your chicken.

Any meal with Original Recipe Chicken should be able to be substituted for Tabasco Chicken – you can even mix and match meals with a combination of both types of chicken, but you’ll have to pay a surcharge of 50c per piece that you switch. The promo runs until 15 May 2017.

Pricing for Tabasco Chicken varies by meal and location – options include:

  • $5 Lunch with Tabasco Chicken, available until 4pm
  • $11.45 3 Piece Box, with chips, potato & gravy, drink, dinner roll
  • $10.95 Burger Boxed Meal, with burger, one piece, chips, potato & gravy, drink

It’s not very nice at all. Way too salty. We prefer the original recipe of hot and spicy. We couldn’t eat it, we had to give it away.
