Guzman y Gomez Revamps GOMEX Rewards and Gives Members Free Medium Fries
Guzman y Gomez has rolled out a major update to its GOMEX Rewards loyalty program, introducing a redesigned rewards hub, new app features and plans to send members rewards more frequently.
To mark the launch, GYG is also giving eligible GOMEX members a free Medium Fries reward, which is being delivered directly to members through the GYG App.

Free Medium Fries Reward for GOMEX Members
GYG says it has sent members a free Medium Fries reward as part of the revamped loyalty program.
If the reward has been added to your account, you can find it by opening the GYG App and heading to the new Rewards section.
To redeem it:
- Open the GYG App.
- Select Rewards from the home screen.
- Choose the Free Medium Fries reward.
- Tap Apply Reward when placing your eligible order.
The reward is specifically for one Medium Fries and can’t be substituted for another size, product or cash.
GOMEX Rewards Gets a New Look
The update goes beyond the free fries, with GYG redesigning how its loyalty program appears and works inside the app.
The refreshed GOMEX Rewards experience includes:
- A new Rewards section
- A redesigned home screen
- A dedicated GOMEX Hub
- Easier access to rewards and offers
- Coffee stamps
- Your digital GOMEX card
- Saved favourites
- Points history
- Personalised information such as your ordering streak
GYG says the changes are designed to make it easier for members to track their progress and redeem rewards.
More GOMEX Rewards Are Coming
One of the bigger changes is that GYG says it plans to drop rewards into members’ accounts more regularly.
The free Medium Fries appears to be the first reward accompanying the relaunch, with GYG telling members to keep checking the app for additional perks.
That could make the Rewards section more important for regular GYG customers, particularly as future offers may be delivered directly to individual accounts rather than advertised as nationwide promotions.
How the New GOMEX Rewards Hub Works
The new GOMEX Hub acts as the central location for loyalty information.
Members can use it to see their points activity and personalised GOMEX information, while frequently used features such as rewards, coffee stamps and the GOMEX card are now designed to be easier to access.
GYG has also simplified the redemption process to select a reward and tap “Apply Reward” when ordering.
Free Fries Available Through the GYG App
Existing GOMEX members should check the Rewards section of the GYG App to see whether the free Medium Fries reward has been added to their account.
The benefit entitles the member to one Medium Fries only, with no substitutions for another size or product.
GYG says this won’t be the last reward issued under the redesigned GOMEX program, with more member perks expected to appear in the app over time.
