Guzman y Gomez is preparing to add BBQ Beef Rib as a new filling option across its menu.

The new filling will join GYG’s existing choices of Grilled Chicken, Pulled Pork, Sautéed Vegetables with Guacamole, Shredded Beef Brisket, Ground Beef and Pulled Shiitake Mushroom.

BBQ Beef Rib Will Be a New Filling Choice

The upcoming BBQ Beef Rib is being added as another selectable filling rather than as a standalone menu item.

That means customers will be able to choose it in the same way they currently select other fillings across eligible GYG menu items.

GYG’s Current Filling Range

GYG’s current filling options are:

• Grilled Chicken – char-grilled chicken fillets seasoned with Guerrero marinade
• Pulled Pork – slow-cooked pork shoulder with Tomatillo salsa
• Sautéed Vegetables with Guacamole
• Shredded Beef Brisket – slow-cooked beef brisket seasoned with Guerrero marinade
• Ground Beef
• Pulled Shiitake Mushroom – BBQ-style mushroom seasoned with smoked paprika, garlic and onion

BBQ Beef Rib will add another beef option alongside Shredded Beef Brisket and Ground Beef.

Expected Across GYG’s Existing Menu

GYG uses its fillings across a range of menu items, so BBQ Beef Rib is expected to be available as a selectable option in eligible products such as:

• Burritos
• Bowls
• Tacos
• Nachos
• Quesadillas

Launch Details Still to Come

GYG has not yet released the full details for BBQ Beef Rib, including:

• Launch date
• Price
• Full ingredient description
• Whether there will be a surcharge
• Whether it will be available at all restaurants
• Whether it will be permanent or limited time

For now, the confirmed change is that BBQ Beef Rib is coming to Guzman y Gomez as a new filling option.

We’ll update this article once GYG releases more information about the new BBQ Beef Rib range.
