Hertz has listed 10%, 15% and 25% discounts for Australian rentals, alongside Gold+ points that can be put towards eligible rental rewards. Frugal Feeds checks listed codes, while Gold+ members have a separate choice between using a points reward and taking a coupon discount.

Choose from the listed discount levels

The listed 25% off codes are 211466, 212132, 212133 and 212134. They carry the same headline saving, giving you four 25% options to use for an eligible Hertz booking.

For a listed 15% off saving, the codes are 211872 and 211883. Code 210659 is listed for 10% off.

Use Gold+ points when a rental reward suits the trip

Hertz Gold+ members can redeem points online in one transaction for rental rewards covering a Standard or Premium car, or an SUV, for a day, weekend or week. Hertz also allows points to be used towards free rental days and car-class upgrades.

A Free Weekend Rental Day starts at 550 points. Hertz notes that this standard reward is not available in every city or at all times. For a first rental, you must show your credit card and licence at the branch desk.

A Gold+ rental reward and coupon discount are separate choices

Hertz Gold+ Rental Rewards cannot be combined with a discount, promotion, coupon or frequent traveller reward. If you are redeeming points for a rental reward, use the reward booking rather than a listed discount code. Hertz permits additional paid days to extend a reward rental, but limits each reservation to one reward.

Free rental days and other car-rental rewards do not earn Gold+ Points. To earn points on a qualifying rental, provide your Gold+ membership number and ZE1 when making the reservation or at the time of rental.
