Menulog to Close in Australia on November 26 2025 1

Food delivery platform Menulog has confirmed it will cease operations in Australia, bringing an end to the country’s only major locally-born delivery service. The company announced the closure in a statement to customers, citing “challenging circumstances”.

The Menulog app and website will remain accessible until 23:59 AEDT on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, after which no further orders will be accepted.

What Happens to Credits and Vouchers?

Menulog has confirmed that any unused vouchers or account credits will be honoured for two weeks after the shutdown. Customers who need assistance with redeeming their remaining balance can contact the support team for help.

The company emphasised that credits must be used within this two-week post-closure period. After that time, they will no longer be valid.

Why Menulog Is Closing

While Menulog did not detail the exact reasons, the company referenced ongoing “challenging circumstances”. Australia’s delivery landscape has become increasingly competitive and difficult to operate profitably.

The closure follows Deliveroo’s exit from the market in 2022, leaving Uber Eats and DoorDash as the remaining dominant players.
