GYG Delivery Fees Now Start at $6.50, With $4.99 Priority Delivery Available
Guzman y Gomez has updated its Australian delivery information, with GYG Delivery fees now starting from $6.50 on direct orders and a $25 minimum spend required.
GYG continues to advertise no service fees when you order through its own delivery service, while customers who want faster delivery can pay an additional $4.99 for Priority Delivery.

GYG Delivery Now Starts From $6.50
GYG’s latest official delivery guidance states that the standard delivery fee starts from $6.50. That means the amount you see at checkout may vary depending on your restaurant, delivery address or other factors.
This is higher than the price originally advertised when GYG Delivery launched in Australia in July 2024. At launch, GYG promoted a flat $5 delivery fee with no additional service fee.
There’s Still a $25 Minimum Spend and No Service Fee
You need to place an order worth at least $25 to use GYG Delivery.
Unlike many third-party food delivery orders, GYG says it does not charge a separate service fee through its direct delivery service. You will still pay the applicable delivery charge, along with the cost of your food and any optional extras.
GYG Delivery orders are ultimately delivered by Uber, but you place the order directly through GYG rather than ordering from the Uber Eats marketplace.
Priority Delivery Costs an Extra $4.99
If you want your order delivered faster, GYG now offers a Priority Delivery option for an additional $4.99.
You select Priority Delivery at checkout in the GYG app. GYG describes the service as a way of getting your order delivered more directly, with Uber powering the delivery itself.
The $4.99 Priority charge is additional to the normal delivery fee, meaning an order with a base $6.50 delivery charge would cost at least $11.49 in delivery-related charges if you also selected Priority Delivery.
Priority Delivery is optional, so you can continue using the standard delivery option if you would rather avoid the additional fee.
You Can Still Earn GOMEX Points on GYG Delivery
One advantage of ordering directly through GYG is that GOMEX Rewards points can still be earned on eligible delivery purchases.
GYG currently awards one GOMEX point for every $1 spent, with points eventually converting into GYG Dollars that can be redeemed on future purchases.
To earn points on delivery, you need to use GYG Delivery through the GYG app while signed into your GOMEX account. GYG specifically confirms that orders placed through the Uber Eats app do not earn GOMEX points.
So if you are comparing your options, the current direct-delivery setup is from $6.50 delivery, no service fee and a $25 minimum spend, with GOMEX points available on eligible app orders. Priority Delivery adds another $4.99 if you want the faster option.
