Guzman y Gomez Launching Multiple New Stores with $5 Burritos and Bowls Deals

Guzman y Gomez is continuing its run of new restaurant openings across Australia, and to celebrate, you’ll be able to grab $5 Burritos and Bowls at several brand-new locations throughout May 2026.

Each opening-day promotion includes regular Burritos and Bowls for just $5, available in-store only from morning through to late evening. Breakfast Burritos and Bowls will also be included during breakfast trading hours at selected locations.

If you’re near one of the new restaurants, it’s a cheap way to load up on GYG favourites while checking out the new store.

GYG Baringa Opening with $5 Burritos and Bowls

GYG Baringa on the Sunshine Coast is opening with a one-day $5 Burritos and Bowls special on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

Located west of Caloundra in one of the Sunshine Coast’s fast-growing communities, the new restaurant will serve:

• Brekkie Burritos and Bowls from 7:00am to 10:30am
• Regular Burritos and Bowls until 10:00pm

GYG Fitzroy Bringing $5 Burritos and Bowls to Smith Street

Melbourne fans will also be able to score cheap GYG when the new Fitzroy restaurant launches on Thursday, May 14, 2026.

Situated on Smith Street in the heart of Fitzroy, the opening promotion runs from 7:00am until 10:00pm.

GYG Burleigh M1 Opening Day Special

The new GYG Burleigh M1 location on the Gold Coast is also joining the $5 opening celebrations.

You’ll be able to grab $5 Burritos and Bowls on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 7:00am to 10:00pm.

GYG Thomastown Launching with $5 Burritos and Bowls

Victorian GYG fans have another opening to look forward to, with GYG Thomastown launching its own $5 deal on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

The opening promotion includes:

• Brekkie Burritos and Bowls from 7:00am to 10:30am
• Regular Burritos and Bowls until 10:00pm

The deal is available at:
