Get $5 GYG Burritos and Bowls on September 17
If you’re near Wollert, you’ll be able to pick up a regular GYG Burrito or Bowl for $5 throughout the restaurant’s opening day on Thursday, September 17.
The promotion runs from 7am until 10pm, although the eligible menu changes after breakfast. From opening until 10:30am, GYG says you can choose from its Brekkie Burritos and Bowls for $5.
From 10:30am onwards, the promotion moves to GYG’s regular Burritos and Bowls, with the $5 price continuing until 10pm.
GYG hasn’t announced an allocation of promotional meals or stated that the deal will end once a specific number have been sold. Its terms do, however, say that quantity limits per customer may apply.
You’ll Need to Order in the Restaurant
The opening promotion is specifically an in-store deal.
GYG confirms that the $5 Burritos and Bowls won’t be available through the GYG App on opening day. The promotional announcement also doesn’t extend the offer to delivery orders or other online ordering methods.
If you want the discounted price, you should therefore order directly at the Wollert restaurant rather than trying to place your order through the app.
The offer applies to regular Burritos and Bowls. Any modifications or additional ingredients you add will incur an extra charge.

Opening-day trading for the promotion is advertised from 7am to 10pm on Thursday, September 17, 2026.
Breakfast Gets the $5 Treatment Too
Opening at 7am means GYG isn’t restricting the launch offer to lunch and dinner.
Until 10:30am, you can choose an eligible Brekkie Burrito or Bowl for $5. GYG’s breakfast products typically combine ingredients such as scrambled egg with your selected breakfast filling, although the company hasn’t published a separate list of qualifying Wollert breakfast varieties in the opening announcement.
At 10:30am, the breakfast portion of the promotion finishes and the regular Burrito and Bowl offer takes over until 10pm.
The deal is available in-store only, isn’t available through the GYG App, and additional modifications or add-ons cost extra. GYG also reserves the right to impose quantity limits per customer.
