Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day Returns on April 14, 2026
Ben & Jerry’s is bringing back one of its most popular annual events, Free Cone Day, on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. The tradition sees Scoop Shops around the world giving away free scoops of ice cream, with no purchase required.
The event runs between 12pm and 8pm, and fans simply need to visit a participating store to receive a free cup or cone of their favourite Ben & Jerry’s flavour. The promotion has been running for decades and is the brand’s way of thanking customers for their continued support.
How Free Cone Day Works
Getting a free scoop is straightforward. On April 14, customers can walk into any participating Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop during the event hours and request their free ice cream.
There are no vouchers, sign-ups or purchases required. Customers choose a flavour and receive a free scoop in either a cup or cone. Many fans traditionally line up multiple times during the day, as returning to the line is generally allowed.
