Guzman y Gomez Launches 30% Off Cali Burritos on Uber Eats Until November 1

by Will Hawke · October 26, 2026, 3:26 pm AEDT

Guzman y Gomez Australia has launched a 30% discount on Cali Burritos through Uber Eats, including its new BBQ Beef Rib Cali, as part of a seven-day promotion running from October 26 to November 1, 2026.

The offer is available at selected GYG restaurants across Australia, with eligible burritos discounted from 10:30am until restaurant closing time each day.

The promotion follows the introduction of BBQ Beef Rib earlier this month, marking the Mexican-inspired restaurant chain’s first permanent new filling in five years.

30% Off Cali Burritos, Including New BBQ Beef Rib

GYG’s latest promotion covers eligible Cali Burritos, with the new BBQ Beef Rib Cali among the featured products.

Unlike the chain’s traditional burritos, the Cali Burrito replaces rice with chipotle-seasoned fries, creating a combination of meat, fries, guacamole, sour cream, shredded Jack cheese, pico de gallo and salsa wrapped in a flour tortilla.

Customers can choose from the eligible Cali Burrito fillings available at their participating Uber Eats restaurant.

The promotion applies to the Cali Burrito range rather than regular burritos, with Regular Burritos, Mini Burritos and Breakfast Burritos excluded.

GYG also allows multiple eligible Cali Burritos to be purchased at the discounted price in the same order, without an advertised redemption limit per order.

BBQ Beef Rib Is GYG’s First New Permanent Filling in Five Years

The delivery promotion highlights GYG’s recently introduced BBQ Beef Rib, which joined the Australian menu in October.

The new filling uses 100% Australian beef slow-cooked for five hours, then finished in a hot pan to develop lightly charred edges.

Customers can choose to have the beef served with GYG’s Chipotle BBQ Sauce, adding a smoky, slightly sweet flavour.

The BBQ Beef Rib Cali combines the new filling with the Cali Burrito’s signature chipotle-seasoned fries and guacamole.

Unlike the seven-day Uber Eats discount, BBQ Beef Rib is a permanent menu addition, available across eligible GYG products beyond the promotional period.

How Much Can Customers Save?

The actual saving depends on the Cali Burrito price displayed at each participating restaurant.

For example, selected Melbourne and Brisbane Uber Eats menus list the BBQ Beef Rib Cali at $23.

At that price, a 30% discount saves $6.90, reducing the food cost to $16.10 before applicable delivery and service fees.

Prices can vary between restaurants, and the final amount payable depends on the selected products and Uber Eats checkout charges.

Customers ordering several eligible Cali Burritos can receive the discount on multiple items within the same transaction.

How to Get the GYG Uber Eats Discount

To access the promotion, open Uber Eats and select a participating Guzman y Gomez restaurant.

Choose an eligible Cali Burrito and check that the 30% discount appears before placing the order.

The promotion is exclusive to Uber Eats, so purchases through the GYG App, website or restaurant counter do not qualify.

The offer also cannot be combined with other promotions and is subject to availability at participating restaurants.

GYG’s 30% off Cali Burrito promotion finishes on Sunday, November 1, 2026, giving customers a limited opportunity to try the new BBQ Beef Rib Cali or another eligible filling at a reduced delivery-menu price.

To get the deal, look for the deal at a participating Guzman Y Gomez restaurant on the Uber Eats website or via your app.
