$5 Brekkie Burritos and Bowls From 6am
If you are there early, GYG says the new Coorparoo restaurant will begin serving $5 Brekkie Burritos and Brekkie Bowls from 6am to 10:30am on opening day.
After breakfast finishes, the promotion switches to $5 Burritos and Bowls, with GYG advertising the opening special through 11pm on October 15. That gives customers a 17-hour advertised window to take advantage of the launch pricing
You Need to Order at the Restaurant
There is one important restriction already confirmed: the $5 opening offer is available in-restaurant and is not available through the GYG App.
The offer is also specific to the new Coorparoo location. It is not being advertised as a Queensland-wide or nationwide GYG promotion.
If you want breakfast, the key window is 6am to 10:30am. For the regular Burritos and Bowls, the advertised promotion continues from the end of breakfast service until 11pm.
GYG Continues Its Brisbane Expansion
The new store gives GYG another location in Brisbane’s inner south-east, on one of the area’s major arterial roads.
The restaurant sits at 211 Old Cleveland Road, with the development also incorporating land around Shakespeare Street and Pembroke Road. Earlier plans were specifically designed to establish a substantial drive-through restaurant rather than a smaller food-court format.
GYG already operates numerous Brisbane locations, including restaurants at Cannon Hill, Carindale, South Brisbane and several other surrounding suburbs. Its current location pages show that drive-through, breakfast and late-night trading are already common at many of its larger Queensland restaurants.
For bargain hunters, though, the main reason to visit Coorparoo on opening day is the price. Thursday, October 15, 2026 will bring $5 Brekkie Burritos and Bowls from 6am to 10:30am, followed by $5 Burritos and Bowls until 11pm, with the promotion available in-restaurant at 211 Old Cleveland Road, Coorparoo.
