Chatime Upgrades Strawberry, Mango, Lychee and Passionfruit Drinks With Real Fruit Pulp

Chatime Upgrades Strawberry, Mango, Lychee and Passionfruit Drinks With Real Fruit Pulp 2Chatime Australia has given four of its core fruit flavours a significant recipe update, with Strawberry, Mango, Lychee and Passionfruit syrups now containing real fruit pulp.

The chain is promoting the change under its new “Fruitier Than Ever” campaign. Chatime says the reformulated flavours have a fresher fruit taste, less sweetness and a less syrupy profile than the versions they replace.

Unlike a typical limited-time Chatime launch, this is primarily a reformulation of existing drinks rather than a new discounted range, so you may notice the change the next time you order one of the affected fruit teas, milk teas or other drinks using these flavours.

Four Chatime Fruit Flavours Now Contain Real Fruit Pulp

Chatime has reformulated its Strawberry, Mango, Lychee and Passionfruit syrups to include real fruit pulp.

The company says it has also deliberately reduced the sweetness and aimed for a more balanced fruit flavour. On its official campaign page, Chatime describes the new recipes as “less syrupy, more authentic”.

Chatime says the upgraded syrups have been designed to deliver a consistent fruit flavour while incorporating the pulp.

Mango Milk Tea, Lychee Squared and Fruit Teas Are Among the Updated Drinks

Chatime is highlighting several existing drinks as examples of how the reformulated flavours are being used.

The Mango Milk Tea now combines the upgraded mango flavour and real fruit pulp with Chatime’s milk tea.

Passionfruit Fruit Tea uses the new passionfruit flavour with pulp alongside Jasmine Green Tea, while Strawberry Fruit Tea combines the reformulated strawberry flavour with Jasmine Green Tea.

Chatime is also showcasing Lychee Squared Tea, which pairs its updated lychee flavour and fruit pulp with Jasmine Green Tea and Lychee Jelly.

The changes are broader than just these four example drinks. Chatime says the upgraded flavours are available across different drink ranges and combinations, although the exact selection can depend on the store and product.

Its current Australian fruity menu continues to list Lychee Fruity, Mango Fruity, Passionfruit Fruity and Strawberry Fruity, alongside its other fruit flavours.

Chatime Says the New Recipes Are Less Sweet

One of the more interesting parts of the update is that Chatime is not simply positioning the fruit pulp as an extra ingredient.

The company says the reformulation has also resulted in a less-sweet flavour profile, with the intention of making the drinks taste more like fruit and less like syrup.

You can still customise sugar levels on eligible drinks.

Chatime currently lists the available options as Regular, ½ Sugar, 30% Sugar and No Sugar, although not every drink supports every setting. If a lower sugar option is unavailable, Chatime says that means the product has already reached the lowest sugar level it can offer.

For Fruit Teas, you can also choose between Green Tea and Black Tea as the tea base where offered.

There are a few limitations. The fruit syrup drinks are not available hot, and ice levels cannot be changed for Frozen or Sparkling drinks because Chatime says the ice is required to maintain the intended texture and product quality.

Mix-ins can still be added where available, although additional charges may apply.

For now, the confirmed change is that Chatime’s Strawberry, Mango, Lychee and Passionfruit flavours have been reformulated with real fruit pulp and a less-sweet flavour profile, with the upgraded drinks available through participating Australian stores from September 2026.
