NEWS: Grill’d – Heston Blumenthal Fable Burgers

Grill’d have launched new Fable Burgers in their new partnership with Heston Blumenthal.

The burgers feature a meat-free Fable pattie made with Shiitake mushrooms and has a meaty taste. The pattie is plant-based and vegetarian, but is not vegan.

The new Fable range features the following burgers, costing $14.50 each (prices however do vary by store):

• Fable Spicy Cheeseburger by Heston: Fable pattie with aged cheddar, Spanish onion, dill pickles, dijon mustard, egg mayo, & Heston’s spicy tomato sauce.
• Fable Truffle: Fable pattie with aged cheddar, cos lettuce, fresh basil & truffle mayo.
• Fable Southern BBQ: Fable pattie with cabbage slaw, shredded carrot, Spanish onion, dill pickle, egg mayo & native Davidson plum barbeque sauce.

Also available is the Heston Fable Burger. This exclusive burger is limited to 4,000 burgers in total at selected restaurants with a reservation for two weeks only (dates vary by state due to lockdown restrictions).

The Heston Fable Burger features a Fable pattie with tofu, cucumber, slaw, hoisin sauce & topped with crispy Fable “beef” and served in a brioche bun.

For $35 a person, you’ll get the burger, chips and your choice of premium wine (Pinot Noir or Chenin Blanc), local beer, or non-alcoholic beverage.
