Mad Mex “Unmask the Luchador” Scratch & Win Promotion with $1.4 Million in Prizes

Mad Mex has launched its biggest giveaway of the year, with the Unmask the Luchador Scratch & Win promotion running across NSW, QLD, VIC and WA. Every eligible in-store purchase earns a scratch card, and every card wins a prize — from free food and drinks to catering packs and even a trip for two to Mexico.

The promotion is available from 4 November 2025 until 1 February 2026, or while scratch-card stock lasts. With over $1.4 million in prizes, the campaign encourages customers to scan their code through the Mad Mex app, reveal their prize instantly, and redeem rewards digitally.

How the Promotion Works

To take part, customers simply need to spend at least $2 in a single transaction at any participating Mad Mex restaurant (excluding airport locations). Each transaction earns one scratch card, up to three per person per day. After scratching the card to reveal a unique code, customers can scan the QR code on the card or visit the promotional page to enter.

Members can log into their Mad Mex account and redeem their code immediately, with prizes automatically added to their rewards. Non-members can quickly create a free account to unlock their reward. All codes must be redeemed in the app by 28 February 2026.

Eligibility and Entry Limits

The promotion is open to residents of NSW, QLD, VIC and WA aged 18 and over. Participants can enter up to three times per day, provided they receive a scratch card for each qualifying purchase. Only one code can be entered per person per day on the website, with a maximum total of 90 code entries per participant during the promotional period.

Codes cannot be reused, and any invalid or unrecognised codes will be rejected. Prizes must be redeemed following the instructions provided within the app.

Key Terms and Conditions

The grand travel prize must be taken by 28 February 2027, excluding peak travel periods such as school holidays and public holidays. Winners are responsible for passports, visas, travel insurance and other personal expenses not explicitly covered.

Food prizes must be redeemed through the Mad Mex app or by scanning the reward barcode in-store. Allergen information must be checked before consumption, and availability may vary by restaurant.

Voucher prizes cannot be exchanged for cash and must be used in compliance with the issuer’s terms.
