Taco Bell Offers Free Taco Supremes with Shazam until October 13 2

Taco Bell Australia has launched a creative nationwide campaign to celebrate National Taco Day, inviting fans to unlock free Taco Supremes simply by listening for bells. Running from October 7 to October 13, 2025, the promotion blends technology, sound, and street-level activations to engage customers across the country.

Participants can Shazam specific bell sounds — both in-person and online — to redeem a free taco. Bells from landmarks in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth were recorded and turned into official Shazam tracks, each unlocking the same offer. For fans outside major cities, Taco Bell has also introduced an original bell melody composed by Sydney-based carillonist Titus Greyner, played in stores and through roaming activations.

How to Redeem a Free Taco Supreme

To claim a free Taco Supreme, customers can take part in any of the following ways between October 7 and 13:

  • Shazam the official Taco Bell soundtrack available on the brand’s website.
  • Shazam bell chimes played in participating Taco Bell restaurants at 3 PM daily.
  • Shazam the sound of real bells ringing from:
    • Melbourne Central Clock (Melbourne)
    • Town Hall Clock Tower (Sydney)
    • St John’s Cathedral (Brisbane)
    • The Bell Tower (Perth)

Once the sound is recognized, Shazam generates a QR code that can be shown in-store to redeem the free taco instantly.

Mobile Activations and Nationwide Reach

To bring the campaign to life beyond Taco Bell’s stores, mobile teams equipped with portable speakers and branded billboards are moving through busy public spaces, playing bell sounds to trigger spontaneous giveaways. The approach blends real-world experiences with digital engagement, ensuring participation across different regions.

The promotion is free to redeem, with no purchase required, and is available in-store only while stocks last.

A Celebration That Rings True

Taco Bell’s “Bells for Tacos” initiative marks one of the brand’s most interactive Australian promotions to date, fusing music, culture, and tech to celebrate its most iconic menu item.

With its creative blend of sound and surprise, the campaign ensures that National Taco Day 2025 truly lives up to the spirit of celebration — one bell (and one taco) at a time.
