Hungry Jack’s Testing New Saucy Jack’s Fried Chicken Burgers
Hungry Jack’s has launched a new range of Saucy Jack’s Fried Chicken burgers, featuring three different sauce options poured over its crispy fried chicken fillet.
The new range is a limited test available only at participating restaurants in the ACT, Goulburn and Queanbeyan regions. If successful, the burgers could potentially see a wider rollout across Australia.
Three New Sauce Flavours to Choose From
The Saucy Jack’s Fried Chicken range features Hungry Jack’s crispy, juicy 100% Aussie chicken fillet topped with one of three sauces:
- Korean BBQ
- Honey Soy
- Creamy Pepper
Each burger is served with lettuce and mayo on a soft brioche-style bun, while the chicken fillet is coated in a generous layer of sauce.
The Korean BBQ version offers a sweet and smoky flavour with a mild kick, while the Honey Soy combines sweet and savoury notes. For something richer, the Creamy Pepper option delivers a creamy peppercorn-style sauce over the crispy chicken.
The launch follows Hungry Jack’s continued focus on its Jack’s Fried Chicken range, which has become one of the chain’s flagship chicken offerings.
Unlike traditional chicken burgers where the sauce sits underneath the fillet, these burgers are fully coated in sauce, creating a messier and more indulgent eating experience similar to recent “dunked” chicken burger trends appearing across the fast-food industry.
Limited Test Market Availability
At this stage, the Saucy Jack’s Fried Chicken burgers are only available at participating restaurants in:
- ACT
- Goulburn
- Queanbeyan
Availability may vary by restaurant and the trial is expected to run for a limited time while stocks last.
