Pappa Flock Is Giving Away Free Flock Boxes When a Mystery Bell Rings on September 30 and October 1

Pappa Flock is bringing back its Ring the Bell promotion for the school holidays, with customers able to score a free Flock Box if they happen to be waiting in line when a mystery bell rings.

The promotion will run on Wednesday, September 30 and Thursday, October 1, 2026. Pappa Flock is not revealing the bell times in advance, instead directing customers to its social media Stories and Highlights for clues about when the bell could ring at their local restaurant.

The offer is being promoted across Pappa Flock locations in both New South Wales and Queensland, with event information stating that the bell will ring at stores around the country on both days. Pappa Flock currently lists 12 Australian restaurants across the two states.

Be in Line When the Bell Rings and Your Flock Box Is Free

The promotion works differently from the usual app voucher or promo-code deal.

At some point during trading on September 30 and October 1, a bell will ring at participating Pappa Flock restaurants. If you’re in the eligible line when it happens, Pappa Flock says you will receive a free Flock Box.

You also need to be following @PappaFlock on social media. Published redemption instructions say customers should be at the restaurant when the bell rings, follow the account and keep an eye on Pappa Flock’s Stories or Highlights for clues.

There is no advertised minimum spend or purchase requirement in the currently published event information.

The catch is that the exact bell time is deliberately being kept secret. Pappa Flock will instead release hints designed to narrow down when you should visit, so simply turning up at any time on either day does not guarantee a free meal.

What You Get in a Free Flock Box

Pappa Flock’s standard Flock Box includes three real chicken tenderloins, with a choice of Classic or Spicy, plus seasoned chips, buttery toast, Pappa Flock signature sauce and a regular soft drink.

Pappa Flock says its chicken tenderloins are fresh rather than frozen, hand-breaded daily and cooked to order.

Because the promotion depends on being physically present when the bell rings, this is an in-store offer rather than something you can claim through Uber Eats, DoorDash or a normal online order.

Pappa Flock Will Release Clues Before the Bell Rings

If you want the best chance of getting the freebie, Pappa Flock is encouraging customers to monitor its social accounts rather than guessing blindly.

The promotion instructions specifically say to check Pappa Flock Stories and Highlights daily for bell-time clues and to turn on post notifications.

Pappa Flock Has 12 Restaurants Across NSW and Queensland

Pappa Flock’s official location directory currently lists nine restaurants in New South Wales and three in Queensland.

NSW locations are Bondi Junction, Casula, Eastgardens, Frenchs Forest, Macquarie Centre, Marrickville, Miranda, Parramatta and Rouse Hill.

Queensland locations are Chermside, Mount Gravatt and Surfers Paradise.
