Red Rooster Launches New Burger Range
Red Rooster has rolled out a major refresh of its burger range, replacing the chicken tenders previously used in many of its burgers with new double-breaded chicken fillets.
At the same time, the chain has introduced pulled roast chicken versions of the same burgers, giving customers a choice between crispy fried chicken or Red Rooster’s signature roast chicken across the new lineup.
The refreshed range includes the Chicken Mayo Burger, Reds Burger, Spicy Burger, Cheesy Bacon Burger and Chicken BLT Burger, with matching Box meals also available.

New Double-Breaded Chicken Fillets Replace Tenders
The biggest change to the range is the move away from chicken tenders in Red Rooster’s fried chicken burgers.
The new burgers instead use a chicken fillet coated in a double layer of seasoned breading, designed to provide a thicker and crunchier coating while keeping the chicken juicy inside.
This gives the burgers a more traditional fried chicken fillet format rather than using multiple tender strips.
Red Rooster is also selling the new fillet separately, with a 1 Piece Fillet priced at $4 at the selected restaurant shown online.
Choose Fried Chicken Fillet or Pulled Roast Chicken
Most of the new burgers can be ordered with either:
- A juicy fried chicken fillet
- Pulled roast chicken
That means customers can choose between the crunchier fried version or a roast chicken alternative while keeping the same sauces and toppings.
It also brings more of Red Rooster’s core roast chicken offering into its burger range rather than limiting roast chicken to rolls, wraps and traditional chicken meals.

The Chicken Mayo Burger is the cheapest burger in the new range at the selected restaurant, priced from $7.45.
It includes:
- Choice of juicy fillet or pulled roast chicken
- Mayo
- Soft toasted bun
It is the simplest build in the refreshed range and puts most of the focus on the chicken itself.
A Chicken Mayo Box is also available from $13.45.
New Reds Burger – From $9.45
The Reds Burger is priced from $9.45 and combines:
- Choice of juicy fillet or pulled roast chicken
- Crisp lettuce
- Cheese
- Red Rooster’s signature Herb Mayo Sauce
- Soft toasted bun
The matching Reds Box is listed from $15.45.
New Spicy Burger – From $9.45
Customers wanting more heat can choose the Spicy Burger, also priced from $9.45.

The combination of the new double-breaded chicken fillets and pulled roast chicken alternatives gives Red Rooster’s burger range a noticeably different structure from the tender-based burgers previously offered.
Rather than changing only the sauces or toppings, the chain has changed the main chicken component while also giving customers a roast chicken version across much of the lineup.
