Chalupas Have Been Sold in Australia Before
Taco Bell Australia has previously offered Chalupas, including a national release in 2019.
The product uses a thicker fried shell than a standard soft or crunchy taco, with Taco Bell previously describing the shell as crispy on the outside while remaining soft and chewy inside.
The Australian launch also included the Chalupa Supreme, which is one of the versions being specifically requested again in Taco Bell’s latest teaser.
The Chalupa Supreme Looks Like the Most Likely Return
Several comments featured in the new post mention the Chalupa Supreme directly.
That includes requests to “bring the Chalupa Supreme to AU” and references to wanting the product back on the menu.
Taco Bell has not yet confirmed the exact version that is returning, but the Chalupa Supreme is clearly part of the current teaser.
Launch Details Still to Come
Taco Bell Australia has not yet confirmed the launch date, pricing or exact Chalupa varieties that will be available.
We’ll update the article once Taco Bell confirms the launch date, product range and pricing.
