GYG Is Giving Away Free Brekkie Burritos and Bowls at 4 Melbourne CBD Restaurants on October 16
The one-morning promotion will be available at four GYG restaurants across central Melbourne, with stores opening the giveaway from either 6am or 7am and serving the free breakfast until 10:30am.

Get a Free GYG Brekkie Burrito or Bowl
The promotion gives you a choice of a regular Brekkie Burrito or regular Brekkie Bowl for free at participating Melbourne CBD restaurants on October 16.
The standard GYG Brekkie Burrito combines your choice of streaky bacon, house-made chicken chorizo or sautéed vegetables with scrambled eggs, a hash brown, Jack cheese and Pico de Gallo in a flour tortilla. GYG’s Brekkie Bowl uses the breakfast fillings without the tortilla and hash brown.
The promotion specifically applies to the regular-sized breakfast items. GYG confirms that the Big Brekkie Burrito is excluded, while optional add-ons are also not included in the free offer.
The Giveaway Starts at 6am at Two Melbourne Restaurants
There are slightly different starting times depending on which GYG you visit.
GYG 260 Flinders Street and GYG Swanston Street will offer the free Brekkie Burritos and Bowls from 6am until 10:30am.
GYG 567 Collins Street and GYG Collins Place will start an hour later, with the promotion running from 7am until 10:30am.
All four restaurants finish the giveaway at the normal GYG breakfast cut-off of 10:30am. GYG generally serves its breakfast menu until 10:30am at participating restaurants, so the promotional window lines up with its regular breakfast service.
These 4 GYG Melbourne CBD Restaurants Are Participating
The October 16 giveaway is limited to the following four locations:
- GYG 260 Flinders: 260 Flinders Street, Melbourne VIC 3000
- GYG 567 Collins: Tenancy 7A/567 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000
- GYG Collins Place: Collins Place Food Court, Tenancy 53/45 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000
- GYG Swanston Street: 289-299 Swanston Street, Melbourne VIC 3000
App, Web and Delivery Orders Are Excluded
You cannot claim the free breakfast through the GYG app.
GYG’s terms state that the October 16 offer is in-restaurant only and is not available through the GYG App, GYG website or delivery. It also cannot be combined with another discount or offer.
That means you will need to physically visit a participating restaurant and order the promotional breakfast there.
Optional extras are not part of the giveaway either. If you want to customise your breakfast with paid additions, those would sit outside the free regular Brekkie Burrito or Bowl offer. GYG specifically lists add-ons as excluded from the promotion.
For Melbourne CBD customers, the main details are simple: visit one of the four participating GYG restaurants on Friday, October 16, 2026, order in person before 10:30am, and you can get a regular Brekkie Burrito or Brekkie Bowl free.
