McDonald’s Monopoly Australia 2025: Rare Tickets, Prizes & All You Need To Know

McDonald’s Monopoly Australia 2025: Rare Tickets, Prizes & All You Need To Know 1Starting Wednesday 3 September 2025, McDonald’s are bringing back McDonald’s Monopoly, with over $718 million in prizes up for grabs right here in Australia!

This year – everything about the game is fully digital through the MyMacca’s app. Plays (game tickets) are tied directly to your account and can unlock instant wins, collect-to-win prizes, bonus plays, and second chance entries.

In addition, this year the property sets are themed around Aussie destinations – they’re no longer based on the classic UK Monopoly board!

Scroll down a complete breakdown of how the game works, what prizes are available, and the rare properties you’ll need to keep an eye out for in 2025.

Prizes

In 2025, the total prize pool is $718,213,476.13! As usual, there are heaps of prizes available! For a full list of prizes, click here.

Food prizes remain at the heart of Monopoly at Macca’s. This year there are more than 32 million food prizes available, with a combined value exceeding $150 million. Popular menu items such as Big Macs, Cheeseburgers, McChickens, Sausage McMuffins, Bacon and Egg McMuffins, small fries, apple pies, McCafé coffees and sundaes can all be won instantly!

Beyond food, the instant non-food prizes are where the excitement really builds. At the top end of the scale, there are two brand-new 2025 Isuzu MU-X SUVs to be won, each valued at more than $81,000. Other standout prizes include the chance to have a mortgage paid for an entire year, a package that covers Uber rides and Uber Eats deliveries for twelve months, and high-value vouchers such as $5,000 gift cards from Amazon, David Jones and Webjet. Lifestyle and technology prizes are also featured, ranging from TCL 85” smart televisions, Allied Gaming PC setups and robot vacuums to Segways, Philips Hue lighting systems, treadmills, BBQ packages and annual cinema passes.

Also popular are voucher prizes and exprience prizes such as the Player’s Choice Voucher, Winner’s Pick Voucher, Free Admission (Free Day Out) and the Free Hobby Session. In total – more than 17 million non-food prizes are available, worth over $567 million.

There’s two ways you can win – through the Instant Wins – where 1 in 3 tickets win instantly or through the Collect to Win properties.

How to Get Game Tickets

Plays are awarded digitally when purchasing eligible menu items at participating McDonald’s restaurants when ordered directly through the McDonald’s app only.

Purchases through third-party delivery apps like Uber Eats or Menulog do not qualify for regular digital game tickets. However, Uber Eats are offering 3 McDonald’s Monopoly tickets when you spend more than $30.

To collect game tickets, you’ll need to purchase the McDonald’s products in the below table. You’ll still get tickets if you purchase a value meal – for example, a Medium meal will earn you 2 tickets while a large will earn you 4 tickets. If you purchase a value meal with one of the burgers or salads below, you’ll earn extra tickets!

Bonus Guaranteed Wins

When ordering through the MyMacca’s app, you’ll receive one extra play per day on top of regular plays. This is guaranteed regardless of what item you purchase, making it easier to rack up additional entries.

Types of Plays

There are three categories of plays in 2025:

  • Instant Win Food Prizes – Over 32 million food items are available, including burgers, fries, McMuffins, drinks, sundaes, and loyalty points. The total food prize pool exceeds $150 million.
  • Instant Win Non-Food Prizes – A wide range of retail, tech, lifestyle, and travel rewards, from gift cards to a brand-new SUV. The non-food pool is worth over $567 million.
  • Collect to Win Prizes – Property sets themed around Australian destinations. Completing sets unlocks major prizes, with some properties designated as rare pieces.

Monopoly App – mymacca’s App

This year, there’s no separate Monopoly app – you can only scan your tickets and play directly through the mymacca’s app.

You need the app to scan your tickets as there’s no longer a website where you can enter your tickets.

To access the Monopoly features on the mymacca’s app, click the ‘Play Now’ banner on the main app page or click the ‘Monopoly’ button on the bottom menu.

To download the mymacca’s app, click this link to download the iOS app, and click this link for the Android app.

Second Chance Draw

In addition, every ticket that you scan through gets you a crack at the Second Chance Draw, which means you could be drawn to win unclaimed prizes worth over $200 after the promotion ends. The Second Chance draw will be drawn on 1 December 2025.

Collect to Win Prize Table / Rare Tickets

To win the Collect to Win Prizes, you’ll need to collect the full property set to claim the prize.

Each property set has one rare ticket – this is the ticket that you’ll really need to win the prize so make sure to hold on to it if you find one! The maximum no. of prizes column shows how many rare tickets there are in total throughout the country.

The rest are common tickets – entering them will give you a chance to open The Chest and an entry to the second chance draw.

This year, you’ll need the game board and the following tickets to win the “Collect to Win prizes”:

It’s a wee bit annoying that it is no longer possible to “share” tickets between family members. Ah well..

Thanks for always posting this handy info each year. I noticed on Uber Eats there is banner for my local maccas of “Spend $30+ to get 3 Monopoly Codes” (so with Uber Eats regardless of items ordered sounds like 3 codes only), whereas above you have “Purchases through third-party delivery apps like Uber Eats or Menulog do not qualify.”.

I have placed $30+ order with Uber Eats and codes not yet received, but is first day of the promo – so unable to confirm either way at this stage. So for meantime can consider them as not applicable yeah.
