KFC Australia Is Launching a Picklecore Menu with Pickle Burger, Golden Frickles and More

KFC Australia is preparing to launch its next major limited-time menu, and this one is going all-in on pickles.
The new KFC Picklecore range is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, with the promotion expected to run until Monday, September 28, 2026.
The upcoming campaign includes a Pickle Burger, Golden Frickles, Picklecore Meal, Pickle Feast and a special $15 Pickle Boxfull, bringing fried pickles and pickle flavours across burgers, sides and larger meals.

KFC’s New Pickle Burger
At the centre of the range is the new Pickle Burger, which KFC is promoting under the “Pickle Core” banner.
Promotional material shows the burger featuring a crispy chicken fillet with pickles and a creamy pickle-style sauce, served on a sesame seed bun.
It represents a significant change from KFC Australia’s current burger range, which includes staples such as the Zinger, Original Crispy and Double Tender burgers.
Golden Frickles Bring Fried Pickles to KFC Australia
Perhaps the most unusual addition is Golden Frickles, KFC’s name for its new fried pickle pieces.
The promotional image shows bite-sized pickle slices coated in a golden fried crumb, accompanied by what appears to be a Pickle Sauce dipping cup.
Fried pickles aren’t completely new to KFC internationally. KFC brought fried pickles back to its US restaurants earlier in 2026 after previously offering them for a limited time, although the Australian Picklecore campaign is its own range.
$15 Pickle Boxfull Until 2pm
KFC is also giving its existing Boxfull lunch concept a pickle makeover with a $15 Pickle Boxfull.
The Pickle Boxfull will be available until 2pm, continuing the lunchtime format KFC has used for its existing Boxfull range.
Picklecore Meal and Pickle Feast Are Coming Too
The promotion won’t be limited to individual burgers and fried pickles.
KFC’s September campaign also advertises a Picklecore Meal, providing another option built around the new pickle range. For groups, there will be a larger Pickle Feast.

Based on the upcoming promotional material, the KFC Picklecore range includes:
- Pickle Burger
- $15 Pickle Boxfull, available until 2pm
- Picklecore Meal
- Pickle Feast
- Golden Frickles
- Pickle Sauce
The promotion is set to begin Tuesday, September 1 and run through Monday, September 28, 2026. September at KFC Australia is going to be dominated by pickles, with a new burger, fried Golden Frickles and an entire Picklecore meal range.
