Bakers Delight has launched a new Chorizo Savoury Bite across its Australian menu from Thursday, September 17, 2026, adding a smoky Spanish-inspired option to its existing savoury snack range.

The limited-time product combines chorizo sausage, pizza sauce, cheese and capsicum in Bakers Delight’s soft baked bread. The chain’s website currently lists the single Chorizo Savoury Bite at $4.20, while Dough Getters members can get one for a promotional $3.50 for a limited time.

Bakers Delight describes the new product as a freshly baked savoury snack inspired by Spanish flavours, made with smoky chorizo, tomato-based pizza sauce, shredded cheese and capsicum. It officially comes “out of the oven” on September 17 and has been launched as a limited-time product.

Bakers Delight is also advertising a three-pack for $12.60, which works out to exactly $4.20 per Chorizo Savoury Bite at the currently listed price. The three-pack contains three of the same chorizo variety rather than a mixture of flavours. (

Dough Getters Members Can Get One for $3.50

There is a better launch price if you are a Dough Getters member.

Bakers Delight is currently advertising the new Chorizo Savoury Bite for $3.50 for Dough Getters members for a limited time. At the website’s listed $4.20 regular price, that saves you 70 cents on a single bite.

Dough Getters is Bakers Delight’s free loyalty program. The chain also currently advertises a welcome gift with a qualifying purchase and $5 in Dough Getters rewards after $55 in eligible spending, although those are standard loyalty benefits rather than part of the Chorizo Savoury Bite launch.

What Is in the Chorizo Savoury Bite?

Bakers Delight’s published ingredient information says chorizo sausage makes up 29% of the product, with the sausage itself containing pork along with paprika, chilli and other seasonings. The bite also contains cheddar cheese, capsicum and a tomato-based pizza sauce.

Each Chorizo Savoury Bite has a listed serving size of 85g. Bakers Delight’s current nutrition panel lists 1,040kJ, 10.8g of protein, 14.7g of fat, 18.4g of carbohydrate and 629mg of sodium per bite.

The product contains wheat, gluten, milk and soy, and Bakers Delight also lists a range of possible cross-contact allergens including sesame, peanuts, tree nuts, egg, barley and oats.
