The limited-edition dessert will cost just $5 and will be available for one week only, from Tuesday, September 15 to Monday, September 21, 2026.

What Is KFC’s Pickle Cheesecake?
The new dessert takes the sweet and savoury combination considerably further than KFC’s other Picklecore menu items.
Promotional material shows the Pickle Cheesecake served in an individual KFC dessert cup, with a creamy cheesecake-style filling and what appears to be pickle pieces and crumb scattered across the top.
It is being promoted as a “Sweet & Tangy Treat”, suggesting you can expect the sweetness and creaminess of cheesecake combined with a noticeable pickle tang.
Just $5 During Week 3
The Pickle Cheesecake will be priced at $5, making it one of the cheaper ways to try something from the Picklecore range.
There is a catch, however: it’s a Week 3 exclusive.
You’ll only have seven days to try it:
Tuesday, September 15 to Monday, September 21, 2026.
Part of KFC’s New Picklecore Promotion
The Pickle Cheesecake is part of KFC Australia’s broader Picklecore promotion, which launches on Tuesday, September 1 and runs until Monday, September 28, 2026.
The campaign puts pickles at the centre of the menu, with items including the Pickle Burger, Picklecore Meal, Pickle Feast, $15 Pickle Boxfull and Golden Frickles.
Golden Frickles are fried pickles served with a pickle-flavoured dipping sauce, while other products combine KFC chicken with pickles and pickle-inspired sauces.
The cheesecake is easily one of the more unexpected additions.

Pickles have increasingly found their way into burgers, fried chicken and snack foods, but pickle cheesecake is a much less conventional combination.
If you want to find out whether the combination actually works, you’ll need to be quick. KFC’s $5 Pickle Cheesecake is scheduled for September 15-21 only, as the Week 3 special of its month-long Picklecore promotion.
