McDonald’s Launches McHappy Day 2026 Merchandise with $6.50 Silly Socks and $9.95 Cool Caps
McDonald’s Australia has launched its McHappy Day 2026 fundraising campaign, with limited-edition merchandise now available at participating restaurants in the lead-up to McHappy Day on Saturday, November 14, 2026.
This year’s range includes Silly Socks for $6.50 and new stonewash Cool Caps for $9.95, with funds raised supporting Ronald McDonald House Australia.
The campaign also includes Helping Hand donations and other fundraising activity across participating McDonald’s restaurants.

McHappy Day 2026 Silly Socks – $6.50
The 2026 Silly Socks are priced at $6.50 per pair.
The available designs feature Grimace and Hamburglar, continuing McDonald’s annual run of character-themed fundraising merchandise.
The socks are available for a limited time at participating McDonald’s restaurants while stocks last.
New Stonewash Cool Caps – $9.95
McDonald’s has also introduced a new Cool Cap for the 2026 campaign, priced at $9.95.
The caps use a stonewash-style design and replace the bucket hats sold as part of the previous year’s McHappy Day merchandise range.
Like the Silly Socks, the Cool Caps are sold as fundraising merchandise and are available only while stock remains.
Helping Hand Donations Also Available
Customers who want to support the campaign without buying merchandise can also purchase Helping Hands.
These are available in $2, $10 and $50 denominations.
McDonald’s is also promoting other ways to contribute during the campaign, including donations through the MyMacca’s App, rounding up eligible orders and a 10-cent donation from selected 600mL Cool Ridge Water purchases.
McHappy Day Is Saturday, November 14
The campaign builds towards McHappy Day on Saturday, November 14, 2026.
On the day, McDonald’s will donate $2 from every Big Mac sold in Australia to Ronald McDonald House Australia.
That contribution applies whether the Big Mac is purchased individually or as part of a meal.

The Silly Socks and Cool Caps are available at participating McDonald’s restaurants for a limited time.
The McHappy Day campaign website lists October 14, 2026 as the start of merchandise availability.
Customers can purchase the merchandise directly from participating restaurants while stocks last.
Supporting Ronald McDonald House Australia
McHappy Day is McDonald’s Australia’s major annual fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Australia.
Funds raised support programs that assist families with seriously ill or injured children, including Ronald McDonald Houses, Family Rooms, family accommodation, retreats and other support services.
McDonald’s says the Australian McHappy Day campaign has raised more than $83 million since it began in 1991.
