NeNe Chicken Launches Hotteok – Korean Brown Sugar Pancake for $3.90 This Weekend

NeNe Chicken Launches Hotteok - Korean Brown Sugar Pancake for $3.90 This Weekend 3NeNe Chicken Australia is introducing a new Korean Brown Sugar Pancake, known as Hotteok, with a special launch price of $3.90 on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8, 2026.

The new dessert features a warm brown sugar filling and sunflower seeds, inspired by the popular Korean street-food treat.

Normally priced at $6.80, or $7.50 in the Northern Territory, the two-day promotion gives you a saving of up to $3.60.

The introductory offer is available for dine-in and takeaway at participating NeNe Chicken restaurants across Australia, while stocks last.

What Is NeNe Chicken’s New Hotteok?

Hotteok is a traditional Korean sweet pancake, known for its soft dough and warm, sugary filling.

Unlike the fluffy pancakes commonly served for breakfast in Australia, Hotteok is typically filled before cooking, creating a sweet centre inside the dough.

NeNe Chicken’s version combines brown sugar with sunflower seeds, giving the dessert a mixture of sweetness and nutty texture.

It’s a new addition to the chain’s Korean-inspired menu, which is best known for fried chicken, burgers, wraps and sides.

If you’re looking for something sweet after a Korean fried chicken meal, Hotteok offers an alternative to the usual ice cream or chocolate-based desserts.

Hotteok Discounted from $6.80 to $3.90

To celebrate the launch, NeNe Chicken is reducing the price of Hotteok for one weekend.

Location Regular Price Launch Price
Most participating Australian restaurants $6.80 $3.90
Northern Territory $7.50 $3.90

That represents a $2.90 saving at most locations, equivalent to approximately 43% off the regular price.

In the Northern Territory, you’ll save $3.60, or 48%.

The promotion applies to the dessert itself, making it an option if you want to try the new menu item without purchasing a larger meal.

Where to Get NeNe Chicken’s $3.90 Hotteok

The launch special runs on November 7 and 8 only, at participating NeNe Chicken restaurants.

You can order the discounted dessert for dine-in or takeaway, with availability dependent on remaining stock.

The offer cannot be combined with other promotions, and the $3.90 price isn’t advertised for third-party delivery orders.

NeNe Chicken operates restaurants across several Australian states and territories, including NSW, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, the ACT and Northern Territory.

If you’re planning to try the new Hotteok, check your nearest participating restaurant before visiting.

The two-day introductory promotion finishes on Sunday, November 8, after which the dessert is advertised at its regular menu price.
