KFC Launches Bigger Tenders and Huge New Dipping Sauce Range from September 29
KFC Australia has confirmed a major refresh of its Original Tenders and dipping sauce range, launching nationwide from Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
As previously reported by Frugal Feeds, KFC has been preparing a significantly expanded sauce lineup to coincide with the end of its Picklecore promotion. The launch is now confirmed, alongside new bigger Original Tenders, a 3 sauces for $2 deal and a new Tenders Saucy Dipping Feast designed around the expanded sauce selection.

KFC’s New Dipping Sauce Range
KFC’s expanded lineup includes a much broader mix of spicy, smoky, sweet and creamy flavours.
The sauce lineup includes:
- Hot Honey Chimichurri
- Habanero
- Korean BBQ
- Texas BBQ
- Chimichurri Ranch
- Smokey Maple
- Creamy Garlic
- Supercharged
- Sweet & Sour
- Tomato
- Liquid Gold
- Honey Mustard
It represents one of the biggest expansions of KFC Australia’s dipping sauce selection in years, giving customers considerably more choice when ordering Tenders, Nuggets, chips and other menu items.
Get 3 KFC Sauces for $2
KFC is also making it easier to sample several flavours at once, with customers able to grab three dipping sauces for $2.
That should be particularly useful with the new Original Tenders, with the September 29 campaign putting considerably more emphasis on dipping and mixing different sauces.
Individual sauce pricing may still apply when purchasing sauces separately.
KFC Is Launching Bigger Original Tenders
The sauce expansion coincides with an update to one of KFC’s core chicken products.
KFC’s Original Tenders are getting bigger, with the refreshed Tenders launching alongside the new sauces from September 29.
As previously reported by Frugal Feeds, changes to KFC’s Tenders had been expected as part of the upcoming sauce campaign. The confirmed launch now makes the Tenders themselves a major part of the promotion rather than the sauces simply being standalone menu additions.
New Tenders Saucy Dipping Feast
KFC is also introducing a new sharing meal built specifically around the refreshed Tenders and dipping sauces.
The Tenders Saucy Dipping Feast includes:
- 14 Original Tenders
- Share Pack Chips
- 5 dipping sauces
With five sauces included, the feast gives groups the opportunity to try several of the new flavours in the same order.
The combination of 14 of the new bigger Original Tenders, Share Pack Chips and five sauces makes it the major sharing option accompanying the September 29 launch.
Supercharged Sauce Is Staying
Fans of Supercharged Sauce won’t lose the popular KFC favourite as part of the refresh.
Supercharged remains in the expanded lineup alongside familiar options including Sweet & Sour and Tomato, while flavours such as Korean BBQ, Habanero, Chimichurri Ranch, Smokey Maple and Liquid Gold substantially broaden the selection.
Rather than simply replacing KFC’s existing sauces, the September launch is an expansion built around offering far more dipping choices.
KFC’s New Tenders and Sauces Launch September 29
After first appearing in KFC restaurant systems ahead of release, the launch date has now been confirmed for Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
The refresh will bring together bigger Original Tenders, the expanded dipping sauce range, three sauces for $2 and the new 14-piece Tenders Saucy Dipping Feast.
It follows KFC’s Picklecore campaign and marks a substantial change to the chain’s permanent Tenders and dipping offering heading into October.
