What’s in the New McDonald’s Cheesy Range?
The McDonald’s Cheesy Range is set to include four menu items:
- Cheesy Quarter Pounder
- Cheesy Double Quarter Pounder
- Cheesy McCrispy
- Mozzarella Sticks with Tomato Chilli Jam
All four are scheduled to arrive at McDonald’s restaurants around Australia from Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
Cheesy Quarter Pounder and Double Quarter Pounder
The classic Quarter Pounder is getting the cheesy treatment.
McDonald’s will introduce both a Cheesy Quarter Pounder and a larger Cheesy Double Quarter Pounder, giving you the choice between single and double beef versions.
These aren’t simply regular Quarter Pounders with an extra cheese slice – they feature an additional fried cheese patty with lettuce, mayonnaise and chilli sauce.
Cheesy McCrispy Joins the Line-Up
Chicken fans aren’t being left out, with a Cheesy McCrispy also launching as part of the range.
The new burger combines McDonald’s crispy chicken with the cheese patty, lettuce, mayonnaise and chilli sauce used across the Cheesy promotion. It provides a chicken alternative to the two Quarter Pounder options.
Mozzarella Sticks Are Returning to McDonald’s
Returning as part of the new menu is McDonald’s Mozzarella Sticks.
The popular side features crumbed mozzarella that is fried until crispy on the outside, with melted cheese inside. This time, the Mozzarella Sticks are being promoted alongside Tomato Chilli Jam for dipping.
Mozzarella Sticks have appeared on the Australian McDonald’s menu during previous limited-time promotions, so their August return gives you another chance to grab them while they’re available.
