Oporto Offers Free Delivery for NRL Grand Final Weekend Plus a 30-Minute 2-for-1 Burger Meal Deal
Oporto is lining up two app-only promotions for NRL Grand Final weekend, including free delivery from Friday, October 2 to Sunday, October 4, 2026, plus a very short buy-one-get-one-free burger meal offer immediately before the Grand Final.
The strongest deal is available for just 30 minutes on Sunday, October 4. During Oporto’s advertised promotional window, you can buy an Ó Burger Meal or Oprego Burger Meal and receive a second eligible meal free through the Oporto App.
Oporto ran the same two promotions for the AFL Grand Final weekend on September 25 to 27. That first window has now finished, but the separate NRL Grand Final offers are still to come.

Get Free Oporto Delivery From October 2 to 4
Oporto’s free delivery offer runs from Friday, October 2 through Sunday, October 4, 2026, covering the full NRL Grand Final weekend.
You’ll need to order directly through the Oporto App, and a minimum $20 delivery spend applies. Third-party delivery services are specifically excluded, so ordering Oporto through Uber Eats, DoorDash or another aggregator will not qualify for the free-delivery promotion.
There is no separate promotional code listed. Oporto’s instructions say to open the app, select your local restaurant and delivery, then find the offer under Latest Offers on the app homepage and add it to your bag before checking out.
The offer removes Oporto’s delivery charge, but the published terms do not state that other potential charges or menu-price differences are waived. You should therefore check the final order total before paying.
Buy One Ó Burger or Oprego Meal and Get Another Free for 30 Minutes
The more valuable promotion takes place immediately before the NRL Grand Final.
Oporto says that from 7:00pm to 7:30pm AEST on Sunday, October 4, customers can buy one Ó Burger Meal or Oprego Burger Meal and receive a second Ó Burger Meal or Oprego Burger Meal free.
You can therefore mix the two eligible meal types. The published wording allows you to buy either an Ó Burger Meal or Oprego Burger Meal and receive either of those eligible meals free rather than requiring two identical meals.
The deal is available through the Oporto App at participating restaurants and is advertised for both Pick-Up and Oporto Delivery ordering. If you choose delivery, the normal $20 minimum delivery spend still applies. Third-party delivery platforms are excluded.
Oporto does not publish one nationwide price for the qualifying meals on the promotion page, and menu pricing can vary by restaurant. That means the exact saving will depend on the prices displayed by your selected store.
The Ó Burger is one of Oporto’s newer menu additions and has also been included in the chain’s current Menu Explorer qualifying-product list alongside the established Oprego Burger.
You Can’t Combine the Free Meal With Free Delivery
There is one particularly important condition if you’re planning to use the 30-minute offer.
The buy-one-get-one-free meal promotion cannot be combined with Oporto’s free-delivery deal.
That means if you order the two-for-one meals using Oporto Delivery during the Sunday promotional window, you should expect the normal applicable delivery charge rather than receiving both promotions at once.
For many customers, Pick-Up may therefore be the easiest way to maximise the value of the BOGO promotion, since there is no delivery charge to worry about and the $20 delivery minimum does not apply.
Oporto also says the 30-minute deal cannot be used with any other offer, discount or promotion. It remains subject to stock availability, restaurant opening hours and participation by your chosen restaurant.
The offer is explicitly described as lasting only 30 minutes, so an order placed after the promotional period ends should not be expected to qualify even if you added the offer to your bag beforehand.
Some Oporto Restaurants Are Excluded
The free-delivery promotion is not available at Oporto restaurants in South Australia, or at Entertainment Quarter, Canberra Centre, airport and football stadium locations.
The BOGO terms state that it is available at participating Oporto restaurants and subject to store operating hours, stock and delivery availability. Oporto also reserves the right to withdraw or extend the promotion.
There is also an unusual timing detail worth checking if you live in a state that observes daylight saving. Oporto’s official promotion page specifically lists the Sunday offer as 7:00pm to 7:30pm AEST. Because daylight-saving arrangements change around this period in parts of Australia, it would be sensible to check the countdown or offer availability inside the Oporto App rather than relying solely on your local clock.
To redeem either promotion, Oporto says to:
- Open the Oporto App and choose your restaurant.
- Select Pick-Up or Delivery as applicable.
- Open Latest Offers on the homepage.
- Add the relevant Grand Final offer to your bag.
- Complete checkout while the promotion is active.
For the NRL Grand Final weekend, the two dates to remember are October 2 to 4 for free delivery and Oporto’s advertised 7:00pm to 7:30pm AEST window on Sunday, October 4 for the buy-one-get-one-free Ó Burger or Oprego Burger Meal deal.
