The new $12 meal follows the chain’s previously announced $5 Chicken Schnitzel promotion for World Schnitzel Day on September 12.

Get a Chicken Schnitzel and Chips for $12
From September 13 to September 20, Schnitz is offering a Chicken Schnitzel with Small Original Chips for $12 at its standard Australian locations.
The discounted schnitzel is specifically the Chicken Schnitzel with traditional crumb. Other proteins, crumb choices or menu upgrades are not included in the advertised $12 offer.
Schnitz says there is a maximum of five promotional meals per transaction, and the deal is available while stocks last.
The promotion applies at standard Schnitz locations. Airport restaurants are not included in the advertised $12 offer, based on the conditions published by Schnitz.
Unlike the $5 World Schnitzel Day offer, Schnitz’s published conditions for the $12 meal do not specify a separate airport price.
$5 Chicken Schnitzels Are Available the Day Before
The week-long deal starts immediately after Schnitz’s World Schnitzel Day promotion.
On Saturday, September 12, you can purchase a traditional-crumb Chicken Schnitzel for $5 at standard Schnitz locations. Airport restaurants will instead sell the promotional schnitzel for $6.
There is a limit of five per transaction, the offer is subject to stock availability and delivery is excluded.
Crumb Collective Members Can Win $1,000 Every Week
Schnitzfest is also launching a longer competition for members of the chain’s Crumb Collective loyalty program.
From 9:00am AEST on September 9 until 11:59pm AEDT on October 26, 2026, eligible members receive an automatic competition entry when they make a qualifying purchase using their membership ID.
There are seven prizes of $1,000 Schnitz Cash, giving the promotion a total prize pool of $7,000. One prize is scheduled to be drawn for each of the seven promotional weeks.
Qualifying purchases can be made in a participating restaurant for dine-in or takeaway, through the Schnitz website or through the Schnitz app. The Gold Coast Airport restaurant is excluded from the competition.
You receive one entry for each qualifying transaction, so multiple separate eligible purchases can generate multiple entries during the competition period.
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 16 years or older, but residents of the Australian Capital Territory, Northern Territory and Tasmania are excluded. You must also be a Crumb Collective member when you make the qualifying purchase, with a valid email address and phone number attached to your membership account.
The seven weekly competition periods run from September 9 through October 26, with draws scheduled on Tuesdays from September 15 through October 27. A person can only win once during the promotion.
Each winner receives $1,000 in Schnitz Cash credited to their Crumb Collective account.
