Yo-Chi Giving Away Free Frozen Yoghurt for Walking 25,000 Steps on Mother’s Day

Yo-Chi Giving Away Free Frozen Yoghurt for Walking 25,000 Steps on Mother’s Day 3Yo-Chi is rewarding customers who get moving this Mother’s Day, with a one-day promotion offering either a free frozen yoghurt or a buy one get one free deal depending on how many steps you complete before 2pm.

The “Walk, Don’t Run Club x Mother’s Day” promotion runs on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at participating Yo-Chi locations across Australia. If a long walk, fitness challenge or morning stroll is already planned, there’s now frozen yoghurt waiting at the finish line.

What You Can Get

Yo-Chi is offering two separate rewards based on your step count.

If you complete 10,000 steps, you can unlock a buy one get one free Yo-Chi offer. Both people redeeming the BOGO deal must individually complete 10,000 steps and purchase together in the same transaction.

If you hit 25,000 steps, you can claim a free Yo-Chi valued up to $12.

The offers include:

  • 10,000 steps each = Buy 1 Get 1 Free Yo-Chi
  • 25,000 steps = Free Yo-Chi up to $12 value

The free item in the BOGO promotion must be equal or lower in value than the purchased Yo-Chi.

How to Redeem the Offer

To claim either reward, you’ll need to show live proof of your step count before 2pm on Sunday, May 10.

Yo-Chi says accepted fitness tracking apps include:

  • Apple Health
  • Google Fit
  • Fitbit
  • Garmin Connect
  • Similar recognised tracking apps

Step counts must be automatically recorded using a phone or wearable device. Screenshots, manually entered steps or edited activity logs are not accepted.

The current date must also be visible within the app when redeeming the offer in-store.

Important Conditions to Know

The promotion is valid only at participating Australian Yo-Chi venues from opening time until 2pm local time on Mother’s Day.

A few key conditions apply:

  • One redemption per eligible guest
  • Offers exclude merchandise, take-home tubs, online orders and delivery
  • Cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts
  • Any amount over the $12 free Yo-Chi limit must be paid separately

Yo-Chi also says it reserves the right to verify step counts and refuse redemption if activity appears manipulated or inconsistent with the promotion rules.

For anyone planning to spend Mother’s Day outdoors, the promotion adds a reason to keep walking a little longer before stopping for frozen yoghurt.
