Grill’d Brings Back “Mad Bunday” Free Burger Deal for AFL and NRL Fans
Grill’d has brought back the “Mad Bunday” promotion for the 2026 AFL and NRL seasons, giving Relish members the chance to score a free burger or salad with a $20 spend when their chosen team wins.
The offer begins 9 March 2026 and runs throughout the regular AFL and NRL seasons, excluding finals, unless Grill’d ends or extends the promotion earlier.
How the Mad Bunday Offer Works
To participate, customers must be members of Grill’d Relish and register a preferred sporting code and team through the Relish preference centre or the Grill’d app.
Each member can only select one team, and the selection cannot be changed once confirmed.
When that chosen AFL or NRL team wins a match during the regular season, members receive a free burger coupon on the following Monday. The coupon must be redeemed on that same Monday, as it expires at the end of the day.
Members can receive one coupon per Monday to Sunday period, even if their team plays multiple matches during that week. No coupon is issued if the match ends in a draw.
What You Get With the Coupon
The coupon provides one free standard burger or salad when the member spends $20 or more in a single transaction.
Some menu items are excluded from the offer, including:
- Lamb burgers
- Wagyu burgers
- Mini Me Pack
- Dynamic Duo
If multiple eligible burgers or salads are purchased, the discount will apply to the lowest-priced item.
Important Conditions
The coupon is available to Relish members only and will be delivered via email or through the Grill’d app or website.
Redemption is limited to dine-in purchases made at the counter (“at till”), meaning it cannot be used for:
- Online orders
- Grill’d delivery orders
- Third-party delivery services
Additional toppings, gluten-free buns, and Low Carb SuperBuns are available at extra cost.
The coupon is single-use, must be scanned at the time of purchase, and cannot be combined with other offers or exchanged for cash.
