McDonald’s Australia is expanding its FIFA World Cup 2026 promotion with the launch of a new FIFA World Cup 26 Happy Meal, featuring a collection of exclusive Squishmallows toys for customers to collect.
The promotion launches alongside the broader FIFA World Cup range and combines two hugely popular brands, bringing together the world’s biggest football tournament and one of the most successful plush toy lines in recent years.

15 Squishmallows to Collect
Each FIFA World Cup 26 Happy Meal includes one of 15 collectible Squishmallows plush toys.
The characters have been specially designed for the promotion and are dressed in FIFA World Cup-inspired football jerseys, giving the popular plush toys a sporting makeover for the tournament.
With 15 different designs available, the collection is one of the larger Happy Meal toy promotions McDonald’s has offered in recent years, giving collectors plenty of characters to hunt down.
The Australian release specifically feature three characters that are only available in this region: Halley, Avery, and Theotto.
Exclusive Digital Game Included
In addition to the physical Squishmallows plush, each toy includes a scannable code that unlocks an exclusive digital game.
The interactive experience allows children and collectors to continue the FIFA World Cup fun beyond the restaurant, adding a digital element to the traditional Happy Meal toy promotion.

The FIFA World Cup 26 Happy Meal joins a growing lineup of World Cup-themed products arriving at McDonald’s Australia from June 10, including the FIFA World Cup 26 Meal, collectible player cups and the returning Goal-den McFlurry with Caramilk.
Together, the promotions create one of McDonald’s biggest sporting tie-ins of the year as excitement builds ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 tournament across Canada, Mexico and the United States.
Available for a Limited Time
The FIFA World Cup 26 Happy Meal will be available for a limited time at participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwide while stocks last.
As with previous Squishmallows promotions, some characters are expected to prove more popular than others, meaning collectors hoping to complete the full set of 15 may need multiple visits throughout the promotion. One toy is included with each Happy Meal purchase, subject to availability.
