McDonald’s Introduces the New and Improved McCrispy on September 24 1

McDonald’s is officially relaunching the McCrispy burger in Australia, with the updated version available nationwide from 24 September 2025 – via @Nectoriouspapi.

The burger is making a comeback with a new recipe designed to enhance flavour and texture.

The core change lies in the patty — now made from whole muscle chicken breast, ensuring a juicier and crispier bite.

Alongside the chicken, McDonald’s has also introduced a new McCrispy bun and a signature McCrispy sauce, giving the burger a distinct flavour profile compared to other chicken options on the menu.

What’s Inside the McCrispy

The standard McCrispy includes the new bun, a whole muscle chicken patty, shredded lettuce, and McCrispy sauce.

For those wanting more, the McCrispy Deluxe adds Aussie Jack cheese, a tomato slice, and extra freshness while still featuring the same patty and sauce.

This relaunch demonstrates McDonald’s continued focus on refreshing its core menu with premium ingredients, aimed at appealing to fans of crispy chicken burgers.

The new McCrispy is a McSpicey without the spice. I had one yesterday at Springvale Victoria. Obviously Maccas cost cutting.
The previous McCrispy before this change was 110 times better. Back to McChicken for Me sadly.
