IKEA Brings Back Happy Days With Half-Price Mains for Family Members until 28 August 2026 1

IKEA has relaunched its popular Happy Days promotion, giving IKEA Family members 50% off all main dishes at the Swedish Food Restaurant. The deal is available every Friday from 11am until close, starting 5 September 2025 and running until 28 August 2026.

The offer covers a wide range of IKEA’s restaurant favourites, including classic Swedish meatballs, baked salmon fillet, veggie balls, chicken schnitzel, and crispy battered barramundi. By showing your IKEA Family membership, you can enjoy a hearty main meal for half the regular price.

Menu Highlights

Popular dishes included in the promotion showcase both traditional Swedish flavours and family-friendly options. For example, an 8-piece Swedish meatball plate, usually priced at $12, is just $6 during Happy Days. The baked salmon fillet drops from $18 to $9, while the chicken schnitzel is reduced to $7.50 from its regular $15 price.

Other discounted favourites include 12 Swedish meatballs for $8, 12 veggie balls for $8, and crispy battered barramundi for $9. Each dish is served with sides such as mashed potato, peas, chips, lingonberry jam, hollandaise, or tartare sauce, depending on the meal.

Participating Locations

The promotion is available at all IKEA restaurants across Australia, including:

  • New South Wales: Tempe, Rhodes, Marsden Park
  • Victoria: Richmond, Springvale
  • Queensland: Logan, North Lakes
  • South Australia: Adelaide
  • Australian Capital Territory: Canberra
  • Western Australia: Perth
