KFC Australia is bringing back its popular Liquid Gold Sauce for a limited time from June 23, 2026, giving fans another chance to get their hands on one of the chain’s most talked-about dipping sauces.

The rich and creamy sauce first appeared nationally earlier this year, running from March 24 to April 13, 2026, where it quickly developed a loyal following thanks to its distinctive flavour and generous serving size. Now it’s making a return as part of a new promotional lineup at participating KFC restaurants nationwide.

What Is Liquid Gold Sauce?

Liquid Gold is a creamy, indulgent sauce featuring a smooth texture and a subtle peppery kick. Designed to complement KFC’s chicken range, it works particularly well as a dipping sauce for Wicked Wings, Wicked Boneless, Original Tenders, chips and burgers.

The sauce is available on its own for $3, allowing you to add it to almost any KFC order while stocks last.

Liquid Gold Zinger Box Returns

Alongside the standalone sauce, KFC is also bringing back the Liquid Gold Zinger Box, which bundles together several menu favourites with a giant serve of the returning sauce.

The Liquid Gold Zinger Box is priced from $16.45 and includes:

1 Zinger Burger
2 Wicked Boneless
1 Regular Chips
1 Regular Potato & Gravy
1 Regular Drink
1 Giant Liquid Gold Sauce

At 6863 kJ, it’s one of the more substantial limited-time box meals currently available on the menu.

Limited-Time Availability

KFC has confirmed that Liquid Gold returns from June 23, 2026, although the exact end date has not yet been announced. As with most KFC limited-time menu items, availability may vary between restaurants and the promotion is expected to run only while stocks last.

Fans who missed out during the original March-April release will likely want to try the sauce sooner rather than later, particularly given the strong response it received during its first nationwide appearance.
