McDonald’s Introduces Free Large Fries Thursday with $1 Spend in Wollongong
McDonald’s is running a Free Large Fries Thursday promotion at selected restaurants across the Wollongong region throughout March 2026. The deal allows customers to receive a free Large Fries when they spend $1 or more in a single transaction.
The offer is available every Thursday between 10:30am and 11:59pm at participating locations. It provides a simple way to add one of McDonald’s most popular sides to an order without paying extra.
How the Free Fries Deal Works
To redeem the promotion, customers must spend at least $1 on any menu item and mention the Free Large Fries offer when placing their order. Once the minimum spend requirement is met, the Large Fries will be included at no additional cost.
The promotion can be used with a small purchase, allowing customers to grab fries alongside another item while keeping the total spend low.
Key Conditions to Know
The offer is not available via McDelivery and cannot be combined with other promotions. This includes the Loose Change Menu, McSmart Meals, bundles or MyMacca’s app offers. Only one free fries offer can be redeemed per transaction, and the free item cannot be exchanged for any other product.
The promotion is also restricted to customers aged 15 and over, and participation may vary depending on stock availability at each restaurant.
