Yo-Chi Launches School Holiday Funhouse With Chances to Win Free Yo-Chi and 50% Off

Yo-Chi has brought back its Funhouse school holiday promotion for September 2026, adding six limited-time toppings alongside in-store games that can reward customers with discounts or a free Yo-Chi worth up to $10.

The promotion is already underway, with Yo-Chi’s official terms confirming its Funhouse Chi Pong and Karao-Chi activities run from September 19 to October 11, 2026. The main Funhouse page also confirms a new line-up of party-inspired toppings including fairy bread, caramel popcorn and SnackaChangi chips.

Buy a Yo-Chi and You Can Get a Chance to Play Chi Pong

The main deal component is Funhouse Chi Pong.

When the game is operating at your venue, purchasing one Yo-Chi Frozen Yogurt or Açaí gives you one ticket for one game. If you purchase multiple eligible Yo-Chi products, you receive multiple tickets, with each ticket providing one separate turn.

Each turn gives you three ping pong balls. The game uses 15 Yo-Chi cups arranged in a triangle, with eight blank cups and seven prize cups:

three 25% off cups
three 50% off cups
one free Yo-Chi up to $10 cup

To win, you need to land two balls in cups from the same prize tier. They do not have to land in the exact same cup. For example, landing balls in two of the 50% off cups earns the corresponding voucher.

Only one prize can be won per turn, and vouchers are issued immediately after a successful game. Individual vouchers can have their own expiry dates and redemption conditions, so you should check the voucher you receive before leaving the store.

Six Limited-Time Funhouse Toppings Have Arrived

Yo-Chi has also introduced a set of six Funhouse toppings built around nostalgic birthday-party snacks.

The official Funhouse range includes Fairy Bread Slice, SnackaChangi Vinegar + Salt Chips, Caramel Popcorn, Choc Dipped Yo-Chi Bears, Funday Yo-Chi Bears and Yo-Chi Bear Marshmallows.

Yo-Chi lists the SnackaChangi chips and Funday Yo-Chi Bears as both gluten-free and vegan-friendly, while the caramel popcorn, choc-dipped bears and marshmallows are marked gluten-free. Customers with allergies or dietary requirements should still check the current ingredient and cross-contamination information with the venue before ordering.

These are toppings rather than fixed-price menu items, so how much you ultimately pay will depend on the amount of frozen yoghurt, açaí and toppings in your bowl under Yo-Chi’s normal self-serve pricing.

Some Venues Are Also Running Karao-Chi

The Funhouse campaign also includes Karao-Chi, Yo-Chi’s karaoke-style promotion.

Unlike Chi Pong, Yo-Chi explicitly states that Karao-Chi is available at select venues in each Australian state, rather than guaranteeing it at every store. Participation is also subject to venue capacity and availability.

You can participate solo or as a duet, with songs selected from an approved list or approved by the local Yo-Chi team before you perform.

Yo-Chi’s Funhouse page says customers who participate can receive a Yo-Chi voucher to put towards a treat afterwards, although the public Karao-Chi terms do not specify a single guaranteed voucher value for every performance.

Other Funhouse activities promoted by Yo-Chi include Truth or Dare, Who Am I and DIY chatterboxes, although availability can vary by venue. The company describes its in-store Funhouse signage as the indicator that games and prizes are running at that location.

Chi Pong Runs Until October 11

The confirmed Chi Pong promotional period is September 19 to October 11, 2026 inclusive, unless Yo-Chi modifies or cancels the promotion earlier.

Chi Pong is open to all ages. Children can participate with adult supervision, and Yo-Chi says staff may shorten the approximate 1.5-metre throwing distance or provide a stool for younger children or guests requiring accessibility adjustments.

Importantly, the discount or free Yo-Chi is not guaranteed simply by purchasing a bowl. Your purchase gives you the chance to play, and you still need to meet the two-ball winning requirement to receive a voucher.

If you are heading to Yo-Chi during the school holidays, the most useful part of the promotion is therefore the extra value opportunity: buy an eligible frozen yoghurt or açaí, play Chi Pong where available, and you could win 25% off, 50% off or a free Yo-Chi worth up to $10.
