Gotcha Fresh Tea Launches New Ube Series With $6 Large Drinks Until September 14

Gotcha Fresh Tea has launched a new three-drink Ube Series in Australia, with Gotcha Perks members able to pick up a large Ube drink for $6 during a short introductory promotion.

The new range includes Ube Salted Cream, Ube Taro Milk Tea and Ube Matcha Fresh Milk, combining the purple yam flavour with toppings including black sugar pearls, ube foam, matcha foam and panna cotta. The accompanying $6 large drink offer runs from Thursday, September 10 to Monday, September 14, 2026.

Get a Large Ube Series Drink for $6

Gotcha Fresh Tea is offering large drinks from its new Ube Series for $6 through its Gotcha Perks loyalty program.

The promotional voucher is valid from September 10 through September 14, giving members five days to redeem the introductory price.

Gotcha’s published promotion says vouchers are being issued on September 10 and previously instructed customers to sign up before September 10 to unlock the reward. That means if you are only joining Gotcha Perks after the voucher distribution has taken place, you should check your app before ordering rather than assuming the $6 reward will automatically appear.

There Are Three New Ube Drinks

The launch introduces three different takes on ube rather than using the flavour in a single milk tea.

Ube Salted Cream combines creamy ube milk with black sugar pearls and a salted cream-style topping, giving you a sweet and savoury version of the new flavour.

Ube Taro Milk Tea combines milk tea with taro mud and black pearls before being topped with a rich ube foam.

The third drink, Ube Matcha Fresh Milk, mixes ube fresh milk with a layer of matcha foam and finishes it with panna cotta. Gotcha’s menu description therefore makes this the most distinct of the three if you want something other than a conventional pearl milk tea combination.

You Need Gotcha Perks for the $6 Price

Gotcha Perks is the chain’s free loyalty program and is available through the Gotcha app.

Members ordinarily earn 10 Gotcha Dollars for every $1 spent on eligible purchases. Gotcha says 100 Gotcha Dollars can subsequently be redeemed for $1 in value, with individual points expiring six months after they are earned.

There is an important exception when using discounted rewards. Gotcha’s current loyalty terms state that purchases made using discounts or vouchers do not earn Gotcha Dollars, so you should not expect the $6 Ube purchase itself to generate the usual loyalty points.

The Offer Ends on September 14

The introductory $6 large Ube Series promotion finishes Monday, September 14, 2026.

The Australian-founded bubble tea brand says it now has more than 50 stores nationally and more than 200 locations globally, meaning the Ube launch comes from one of Australia’s larger home-grown bubble tea chains.

For now, if the reward is available in your Gotcha Perks account, you can get a large Ube Salted Cream, Ube Taro Milk Tea or Ube Matcha Fresh Milk for $6 until September 14.
