McDonald’s Launches New Bistro Bearnaise Angus Range & Lemon Lime Bitters from 25 February

McDonald’s Australia is expanding its premium burger lineup with the new Bistro Bearnaise Angus range, arriving nationwide on Wednesday, 25 February 2026. (Via nectoriouspapi)

The new range brings a richer, more indulgent flavour profile, combining Angus beef with classic bistro-style ingredients.

Alongside the burger launch, McDonald’s is also introducing Lemon Lime Bitters as a permanent beverage option, giving customers a new refreshing drink choice to pair with their meals.

What’s in the Bistro Bearnaise Angus Burgers

The Bistro Bearnaise Angus range features a combination of savoury and creamy flavours designed to elevate the traditional Angus burger experience. Each burger includes a 100% Aussie Angus beef patty, topped with streaky bacon, crispy onion pieces, cheese, fresh lettuce and tomato, all finished with a rich bearnaise sauce and served on a toasted sesame seed bun.

Customers can choose between two options. The Bistro Bearnaise Angus offers a single Angus patty, while the Double Bearnaise Angus adds an extra patty for a more substantial meal. Both versions focus on a balance of smoky bacon, crunchy texture from the onions, and the creamy, herb-infused bearnaise sauce.

New Permanent Drink Option: Lemon Lime Bitters

Launching alongside the burger range is Kirks Lemon Lime Bitters, which will become a permanent addition to the McDonald’s drinks menu. The beverage offers a lightly sweet and citrusy flavour, providing a refreshing alternative to traditional soft drinks.

With the introduction of the Bistro Bearnaise Angus range and a new ongoing drink option, McDonald’s continues to refresh its menu with premium-style items and expanded beverage choices available from 25 February at participating restaurants across Australia.
