KFC Brings Back the Hot Rods Box with Burger & 2 Hot Rods
KFC Australia is also bringing back the Hot Rods Box from May 12, 2026, as part of the wider Hot Rods return.
The limited-time box will be available through to June 8, 2026, giving you another way to try the returning spicy chicken skewers alongside one of KFC’s most popular burgers.
Pricing starts from around $15.95, although prices may vary depending on the restaurant.
What You Get in the Hot Rods Box
The Hot Rods Box includes:
- Zinger Burger
- 2 Hot Rods
- Regular Chips
- Regular Potato & Gravy
- Aioli Dipping Sauce
- Regular Drink
The combination pairs the spicy Zinger Burger with the returning Hot Rods, which feature Hot & Spicy coated thigh meat chicken served on skewers.
Upgrade Options Available
KFC is also offering several upgrade options if you want a larger meal:
- Upsize to Large Chips and Large Drink for $2.50
- Upsize Chips Separately for $1.60
- Upsize Drink Separately for 90 cents

The Hot Rods Box will be available from May 12 until June 8, 2026, while stocks last at participating KFC restaurants.
