McDonald’s Australia Gives Away 100 Limited-Edition McCafé Tray Bags on October 9

McDonald’s Australia is launching a limited-edition McCafé Tray Bag giveaway, with the first 100 eligible people to register set to receive one for free.

The competition opens at 12pm AEDT on Friday, October 9, 2026, with no purchase required.

The promotion is strictly first come, first served, so anyone hoping to get one will need to register quickly once entries open.

What Is the McCafé Tray Bag?

The McCafé Tray Bag is a fashion-style reinterpretation of McDonald’s familiar drinks tray.

McDonald’s describes it as featuring:

• A rich fig colour
• Gold-toned hardware
• A chunky shoulder strap
• Dedicated holders for drinks

The bag is being positioned as a limited-edition McCafé collectible rather than a standard piece of merchandise.

How to Get a McCafé Tray Bag

To enter, eligible customers need to:

1. Visit mccafetraybag.com
2. Complete the entry form
3. Be among the first 100 eligible entrants

No purchase is required.

Entries open at 12pm AEDT on October 9, 2026.

Only 100 Bags Available

The first 100 eligible entrants will each receive one McCafé Tray Bag.

Prizes are allocated on a first come, first served basis until all 100 bags are claimed.

McDonald’s says winners will be notified by email within 7 days of the competition period ending.

Competition Runs for One Day

Stage 1 of the promotion runs from:

• 12:00pm AEDT on October 9, 2026
• Until 11:59pm AEDT on October 9, 2026

However, because only 100 bags are available, the allocation could be exhausted very quickly after registrations open.

There is a limit of one entry per person.

Who Can Enter?

The competition is open to Australian residents aged 15 and over.

Anyone under 18 may still be subject to the applicable competition conditions, but the promotion is not restricted to MyMacca’s Rewards members and does not require a food purchase.

Prize Value

Each McCafé Tray Bag is valued at approximately $50, based on the stated total Stage 1 prize pool of $5,000 for 100 bags.

That makes the full prize pool worth $5,000.
