McDonald’s Launches McDonaldland Meal & Shake with New Collectible

For the first time in more than two decades, Macca’s is reintroducing its iconic McDonaldland characters in a special promotion called the McDonaldland Meal.

This release will be available across Australia from 13 August 2025 and is expected to be a hit with fans who grew up with Ronald McDonald, Grimace, Birdie, the Hamburglar, Mayor McCheese, and the Fry Friends.

What’s in the McDonaldland Meal

The McDonaldland Meal allows you to choose from a Quarter Pounder, Big Mac, or 6-piece Chicken McNuggets as the main item, served with fries and a McDonaldland Shake — a berry-flavoured shake topped with whipped cream and raspberry sprinkles. This shake is a new addition to the menu, giving the meak a unique touch while also being available as a standalone drink.

Each meal comes with one of six exclusive collectible tins that contain postcards, stickers, and themed items showcasing the six classic McDonaldland characters.

Pricing and Sizes

Pricing for the McDonaldland Meal varies slightly depending on the choice of main and also by store.

A Medium Big Mac McDonaldland Meal is priced at around $16.60, a Medium Quarter Pounder Meal costs around $16.75, and a Medium 6 Nuggets Meal is around $17.05. Upgrading to a large meal is an additional $0.90, offering a larger drink and fries.

The McDonaldland Shake can be ordered without purchasing the full meal. Prices are $6.25 for small, $7.00 for medium, and $7.65 for large.

Availability

The McDonaldland Meal and McDonaldland Shake are both available from 13 August 2025 until stocks last.

Availability may vary by store, and certain high-demand items, particularly specific tins, may sell out well before the promotion officially ends.
