NEWS: McDonald’s McPlant launches in Australia (VIC Only)

McDonald’s have launched the new McPlant, available at 270 selected stores in Victoria only!

The burger contains a new patty made with peas, rice, potatoes and beetroot made by Beyond Meat, plus tomato, lettuce, pickles, onions, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard and cheese on a sesame seed bun.

Note that the patty is cooked on the same grill as meat-based products and eggs, and the burger also contains non-plant based ingredients including American cheese and mayonnaise, although that can be removed on request.

The McPlant Patty does not contain soy or gluten, however the bun it is served on does contain gluten.
