NEWS: McDonald’s Reduces Breakfast Hours to 10:30am Due to Egg Shortage

NEWS: McDonald's Reduces Breakfast Hours to 10:30am Due to Egg Shortage 1McDonald’s have announced from Tuesday 2 July 2024, McDonald’s will temporarily reduce their extended breakfast hours that normally serves selected breakfast items until 12pm, and only serve breakfast until 10:30am.

That means extended breakfast items like the Bacon & Egg McMuffin and the Sausage & Egg McMuffin will no longer be available from 10:30am to 12pm.

However, Hash Browns will still be available all day.

The reason for this is due to the egg shrotage that is currently affecting Australian suppliers due to a bird flu outbreak, which has resulted in retailers like Coles and Woolworths to implement restrictions on buying eggs.

McDonald’s says that it iws working with farmers and suppliers to return this back to normal as soon as possible – when this happens, we’ll make sure to post the news on Frugal Feeds!
